: "I believe in the sacredness of the earth and its interconnectedness to spirit," says Stevee "That is what my art is about. I like to blend technology with the organic in ways that communicate these mysteries through a kind of techno-paganism. My creative process is a sort of prayer for me, an offering.” His images are created by taking initial photos with a 35mm camera; scanning the negatives to produce high-resolution digital source material; and mixing, layering, and transmogrifying with Photoshop wizardry. One of Stevee’s amazing projects is the Cosmic Tribe Tarot deck which includes a collection of his visionary art. Stevee lives in Portland, Oregon.

Carey grew up on the east coast of the U.S. in Virginia and North Carolina, and has since lived in New Mexico and Costa Rica. He currently resides in San Francisco, California. Carey describes his work as holomorphic transmission vision crystals. The imagery channels through as impulses from the universal matrix and crystallizes into form onto templates based on sacred geometry and other patterns of nature. Beginning usually with only a seed of intention, the color and form evolve unconsciously to create the finished art. Revealing the interconnectedness of all things is the primary intention of Carey's artwork.

“When I bought my Nikon 950 three years ago I had no idea how much of an influence it would have on my life; I'd never had an artistic outlet before. In the span of two years I took close to 10,000 photos, something I would never have been able to do if I hadn't been working entirely in the digital domain. Learning on the digital with no background in photography also helped me to break some conventional rules. Because of this, my style of shooting is partly based around features only available in digital. The lcd screen provides instant feedback that allows me to discover shots I wouldn't otherwise be able to shoot without a return trip to the same locale. For the past 10 years or thereabouts, Andrew Thomas, under the Android pseudonym, has been deeply involved in the conception, development and production of vivid, brilliantly executed electronic art. Celebrating the ever-evolving, intrinsic relationship between science, technology and the natural world, Andrew‚s pieces are truly magnificent and have long been appreciated by many who have had the opportunity to view them at the various exhibitions, community and music events that he has undertaken during this time.

A decade on, Andrew‚s undeniable talent has seen him progress to become a recognised leader in the mediums and subjects on which he focuses, with what may be considered a cult following among the electronic arts community. Testament to this reputation is evidenced through recent requests from related media to explore and promote 'Androidism', with interviews and articles appearing in notable publications such as Ministry Magazine, Design Graphics along with interviews on television, radio.

In my work, I continually pose the question, „What if?‰ My subjects are unfettered by the restrictions of reality. Playing with time and civilization, they often bring together past and future to form an alternative present. My background in product design and architecture brings to life the machines and settings in my pieces. My extensive experience in computer game production and 3D animation has contributed to my aesthetic. My work now expresses movement and a three-dimensional, sculptural quality influenced by comics, and animated movies from Bambi to ANTZ.I create possitivity. I hope to draw people away from their anxious everyday life for a moment, and make them smile. Maybe they will get stuck that way...smiling. While the surface of my work is happy and light, there are layers of meaning underneath~sometimes a metaphor, sometimes a lesson. The story might be a moral message, a reworked fairy tale, mythology, or the start of a novel.

I was born in the cosmopolitan city of Miami, Florida close to beaches, the sun and endless varieties of flowers and wildlife. As a young man I developed an interest in cross-cultural communication and spiritual growth by reading the spiritual classics of Taoism, Buddhism and Hinduism. On weekends, I studied with Sufis, Jains and all manner of esoteric adepts. Upon entering college, I continued my interest in diplomacy and triple majored in Politics, Religion and East Asian Studies to deepen my knowledge. After graduating, I worked for a number of non-profits around DC and learned a considerably amount about how politics really work in the US. I left DC a bit jaded to join some artistic friends in Boulder, CO. It was there that events led me to remember my ability to hallucinate as a child by clearing my mind and focusing on objects. It was not long before I started to make art in a meditative ego-less "no-mind" state, creating naturally hallucinagenic and organic works. After a few months, I started to pursue a true career in art and had begun to move to San Francisco. Sadly, at the exact same time, my mother was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and Ihad to put my business on hold to take care of her. While there, I focused on creating symbols of healing and empowerment for my mother and the children I volunteered to teach. After a long and inspiring battle, my mother passed away on Sept. 11, 2001, having lived much longer than anyone expected. I moved to Eugene, OR where I restarted my artcareer and made some swift changes in my style. I began to paint as well as draw inspired by ancient symbols of empowerment I had found by studying the magickal and shamanic traditions of the world. It was not long after that I began to make ambidextrous performance paintings, working with both hands simultaneously on two different canvases. These pieces are largely inspired by the art of empowerment found in Oceania, Australia and West Africa. Today I continue to work in a number of different artistic fields, from painting to rock poster creation, but all are devoted to generating inspiration, empowerment and sense of the magickal to the world.

my art is primarily aimed towards inspiring an artistic lifetsyle with practical application. for 7 years i have been actively involved in the graphik design of my community, offering services from layout to concept development. the art i produce is heavily influenced by todays top multimedia designers, particularly those who design in Flash. my work contains a great deal of vector imaging as well as a compendium of visual maps and layers which create a multidimensional polyfunctional texture. art is more than a hobby or past-time. it is a directly applicable world crafting technique for concretizing visionary experience and intentionally evolving ourselves. i feel that everyone is a visionary and that art is our means of expressing it.
